Decorations and Dinosaurs

I’ve been working hard to prepare for Christmas, rolling clay slabs and cutting out a variety of shapes for hanging Christmas decorations or “suspensions” as we call them in here.

Following a browse of various shapes I came up with a broad selection of Christmas and animal themes, trees, angels, stars, snowflakes, reindeer and also a set of dinosaurs (you remember that bit in the Nativity… and lo the brontosaurus….etc.

Unfortunately the lockdown has meant that the shop in Huelgoat (Boutique des Createurs) has been closed, except for Thursday and Saturday mornings for “click and collect”.

I therefore have a stock of Christmas decorations ready to go but no commercial outlet. I would create an online offering to the UK , but postage from France seems prohibitively expensive. What would you be prepared to spend on postage to purchase such relatively inexpensive objects?

Decorations and dinosaurs are pictured below, alongside some other work I have been making for sale or as gifts.

I also have to announce a new addition to our family here in Huelgoat. Holly the rescue dog has joined us and has already made friends with Teddy our resident canine chum.

Having spent 5 wonderful years in France I have moved to Suffolk in UK. I am looking forward to creating and sharing a new range of ceramics and pottery.
